I founded the Salty Life Foundation to make a profound impact on the CF community. As a woman living with CF, I understand the significant challenges our community faces. I have experienced trials and triumphs like all with CF; however, throughout it all, I have remained optimistic knowing our community is filled with reasons to remain hopeful about the future. Thanks to scientific advancements we are on the cusp of monumental breakthroughs that are changing the course of history. I am proud to be apart of a team of inspirational people who are equally enthusiastic in their commitment to evolving the CF community.

It is my honor to work with the amazing people on the Salty Life Foundation towards the goal of inclusivity in the CF community. While the mission of the foundation aligns perfectly with my personal values and goals, people are more important to me than anything else- - and the people within the Salty Life Foundation really are the salt of the earth. I am absolutely thrilled to see where this adventure takes us and I wouldn't want to do it with or for anyone else.

I jumped at the opportunity to be part of the Salty Life Foundation from the very beginning. The original Salty Life project was an incredible testament to the resilience, strength, and diversity of everyone with CF. I wanted to be a part of this new team of talented and passionate individuals who are inspiring and fostering the connection between the community of patients, doctors, and researchers.

I have never let cystic fibrosis hold me back-- I want to use it as motivation to give back and stay involved until we find a cure for everyone affected by CF. Joining the Salty Life family has meant pushing myself out of my comfort zone and diving deep into writing and interviews. It has introduced me to amazing individuals within the cystic fibrosis community who want to share their story. For a disease that is typically isolating, I have found a platform to meet others and help them to find their voice!

I joined the Salty Life Foundation because I believe that of all of us with cystic fibrosis can create a positive community that will uplift everyone affected by CF. This community has continued to inspire me in countless ways and our stories deserve to be told and honored. Salty Life is making that happen and I am thrilled to be a part of continuing that growth and fostering more connection!

By joining the Salty Life Foundation, I knew that it would be a valuable experience, especially being able to work together with individuals that share the same common interests and goals. Throughout my experiences and hearing other stories about this life threatening illness, I knew that one day I wanted to make an impact and help others. It has always been a passion of mine to help educate, empower and inform other individuals about cystic fibrosis and to one day leave a legacy. I look forward to seeing how much this nonprofit will blossom throughout the years and excited for what’s in store.
