What is the Salty Life Foundation?


The Salty Life Foundation is a lifelong dream of president and founder, Meranda Sue, who has aspired to bring inclusivity to the Cystic Fibrosis community for a long time. Through the Salty Life Foundation she aims to fund projects that will directly benefit the Cystic Fibrosis community including, but not limited to, The Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis magazine, a financial assistance program for transplant reciepients, and clinical trial information.




What is The Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis Magazine?


The Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis magazine is the original project of world-renowned photographer, Ian Pettigrew. Ian designed and produced the first (2) issues of the magazine under a for-profit model for the Cystic Fibrosis community. Now, the magazine is produced under the umbrella of The Salty Life Foundation to keep costs low to those with CF.

How do I get a PDF copy of the new issue(s) of The Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis Magazine?


PDF versions of the magazine will be/are sent via email to all subscribers. Make sure you are subscribed to recieve any and all updates regarding the Salty Life Foundation and the Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis magazine. Our re-launch issue is set for October. Once it is released, you will be able to download issue(s) directly from our site via a link in your email. Again, make sure you are subscribed!!




How do I get a print copy of The Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis Magazine?


Print copies of the The Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis magazine are available for free, in limited copies for people living with Cystic Fibrosis within the United States. Everyone else, including those living internationally, will be able to purchase a copy of the magazine upon each release date.

What happens to the money I donate to the Salty Life Foundation?


Any money donated to the Salty Life Foundation goes directly towards making sure The Salty Life: A Cystic Fibrosis magazine stays free to those with Cystic Fibrosis. Money also goes towards funding any current and upcoming projects that The Salty Life Foundation has that will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis community.
